The Diamond Award grant program seeks to support high-impact, strategic, and innovative projects and programs of nonprofit organizations seeking to improve women’s health and maternal healthcare access and quality in Alabama.
2026 Focus Area
The 2026 Diamond Award will focus on Maternal & Women's Health. Applications should be for programs/projects that seek to make significant improvements and/or enhancement to key areas women’s health including, but is not limited to:
OB/GYN Care Access
OB/GYN Workforce Growth & Support
Maternal/Infant Mortality & Preterm Birth Rates
Disparities in Women's Health Care/ Barriers to Care
Women's Preventive Health Care, Nutrition, & Screenings
Women's Mental Health Care
