What We Do
The Caring Foundation is vital to Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Alabama’s mission to give back to the community. We are proud to partner with charitable organizations throughout the state to improve the health, wellness and education of all Alabamians.
Established in 1990 by Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Alabama, The Caring Foundation aims to support projects that align with the foundation's mission by identifying statewide needs and providing funding through grants to organizations that work to improving the health and well-being of Alabamians.
The 2024 Grant Cycle begins on January 1st, 2024, and ends on November 15th, 2024.
